Our mission starts with fixing and optimizing all of your online technical assets (website, hosting, email, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), social media accounts, etc.). It continues with making sure your entire Internet footprint is Google compliant & adheres to established guidelines. And while we’re at it, our creatives will ensure your brand is consistent throughout your entire Internet footprint.

Our roots date back to the pre-internet days as a commercial printing firm. Our first websites were developed in the earliest days of the internet using hand typed HTML code. Today we develop and manage the latest content management systems, and deploy the latest in Internet architecture and online practices. Internet technology has come a long way, and we have been engaged in it since day one.

Donald PowellFounder
Don has been in the business since the earliest days of the Internet, setting up BBS (Bulletin Bord Systems) in the late 80’s. He pioneered SEO techniques for first search engines, such as AltaVista, WebCrawler, Excite and others. Don devotes much of his time in research to ensure our clients are using the latest practices and are adhering to the most recent Google Webmaster guidelines. He is also an expert in Internet architecture and web hosting. Don Powell is the President and Founder of Social Power, Inc. He loves boating, micro-brews, business networking, playing billiards and spending time with friends & family.
DonovonSEO Specialist
Daniel brings an extensive background in IT and has been with Social Power for over eight years. During that time, he has built up an intensive knowledge base on all things SEO. He heads up the SEO department and specializes in Local Search, Keyword Research, Link Building, and more. He brings a strong presence in advertising, sales, and marketing which all contribute to his in-depth understanding of SEO and getting our clients to the top of search results. When he is not working, Daniel loves to jetski and work on his stock portfolio. He also loves animals and has a shelter dog named Levi and a cat named Eren.
Audrey Systems Manager
Audrey brings her education in Database Administration and Design to provide a data-centric and analytical approach to SEO. With training in Local Search and WordPress SEO, she is dedicated to getting the best results in internet footprint and search results for our clients. Along with SEO, she uses her creative side to assist in the social media and web design departments and loves to hike and stay active in her free time!
Shaylee Creative Director
Shaylee joined us back in 2020 and brought with her over 5 years of experience and a degree in social media marketing. Now, she is one of our web designers and likely managing most of our client projects. When she isn’t working, Shaylee loves to bake and try new restaurants with her husband, Quenntin. Shaylee also loves animals and has a cat named Maybe and a Shiba Inu puppy named Toast.
ScottSwiss Army Knife
Scott is our go-to man for graphics, web design, and SEO work in the company. His education in Graphic Technologies and experience in the marketing and advertising industry contributes to the creativity and artistic vision of many of our projects. Along with his design work, Scott is part of our SEO department and has certificates in SEO, Local Search, and WordPress SEO. When Scott isn’t working on a graphic, he loves spending time with his wife and daughter.
Abbey Graphics Design
Abbey’s always looking for new and fresh inspiration for her graphics and to advance her graphic design and writing skills. When she’s not working on one of our creative projects, she helps our SEO team with citations. In her free time, she loves enjoying the great outdoors in the PNW and going biking and snowboarding.
UmerWeb Developer and Programmer
Umer is an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about creating well-structured code that is easy to read and maintain. He graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering and has a strong interest in software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and machine learning. He uses his development skills to ensure that the websites we create have solid back-ends that are reliable and secure. In his free time, Umer loves to read and explore the great outdoors!
